Club Captain and Coach

Captain

Simon Niemeyer has been nominated as Club Captain from May 2009. Simon is a very approachable guy who always rides fair, participates often and is always ready to help new riders - as such he reflects what our club is all about. Add to this his experience of road and track, technical knowledge, riding talents and passion for the sport and Simon was the obvious choice for club captain.

Coach

Michael Aisbitt (Level 2) will take over as the club coach from May 2009. Michael has been riding for years, including a stint on the road in Europe and is currently a masters world champ and world record holder on the track. Michael is a natural teacher and is full of ideas and enthusiasm. He has already jumped into the role with gusto and you'll hear plenty more from him about upcoming training sessions in the coming months.
