PROD club ride – Wamboin loop

An event every 4 weeks that begins at 8:00 am on Sunday, repeating indefinitely
- Meeting point: North Rd & University Ave intersection – Australian National University (ANU)
When: Sundays at 8am

Distance: Around 85kms
Ability: All welcome – there are usually 1-2 groups depending on numbers
Starting at ANU, depending on numbers and rider preference, there will be 1 or 2 groups catering for medium/fast and slower riders.
The group will head out through Turner, onto McCaughey/Macpherson Sts to the end and turn right onto MacAuthur Ave. From there, turning left onto Northbourne Ave and head out of town up the Federal Highway.
First regroup point is at the top of the Federal Highway climb.
After leaving ACT on the Federal Highway, the group will turn off onto the service road at the Eaglehawk service station and head up to Sutton Rd. Then rejoining the Federal Highway briefly until turning off at Tulip Tops (Old Federal Highway).
Second regroup point is at the top of Washing Machine Hill, then it’s out to Shingle Hill Way where we turn right, then right again onto the Federal Highway for a brief stint before turning left onto Bungendore Road.
Once on Bungendore we continue on until turning left onto Norton Rd. After Norton we turn right onto Sutton Rd and head towards Sutton Bakery for a refuel stop.
