About UsThe Tuggeranong Vikings Cycling Club (TVCC) operates under the auspices of the Tuggeranong Vikings Rugby Union and Amateur Sports Club. We cater for, and hope to encourage road racing in the Canberra Region by providing an encouraging and friendly atmosphere in which cyclists of all levels can compete. TVCC is affiliated with the Australian Cycling Federation (ACF), meaning that members can enter in road, track and mountain bike racing events run by any ACF affiliated clubs in the ACT or elsewhere in Australia. Club profileTVCC was established in 1996 to promote and provide opportunities for participation by South Canberra and Tuggeranong residents in all forms of cycling. It now caters for cyclist who live all over Canberra including Northside and the Belconnen area, and members come from as far as Cooma! It conducts road races and other cycling events in the Canberra region. Club members also organise training and social rides and can assist with coaching riders of any ability. TVCC has a strong contingent of women cyclists, masters-aged cyclists, and also has several AWD (athletes with a disability) members. Our Junior Cyclists program is one of the most successful in the region. TVCC also provides coaching and support for Novice Cyclists and has pioneered the Novice Road Cycling Program. The new design is modern, highly visible, and clearly recognisable as TVCC as well as distinguishing our club as a Canberra-based club for those members racing interstate and nationally. The new clothing is supplied by Ventou, and womens specific designs for knicks are now available. There will be a one year overlap (for 2008) during which the club will be officially changing over from the old uniform to the new uniform. During this time members can wear either the new or old uniform at State and National events. After this one year period members will be required to wear this new uniform at all State and National events. In StockThe following items are in stock as of 1 June 2008. Any clothing size that is not listed will need to be ordered and full payment is required prior to the order. Most items require a minimum order which needs to be filled.
