Lifestyle and Novice bunches

The idea of this group is a friendly and safe introduction to group riding. It’s all about good bunch riding form – talking, pointing things out and obeying road rules. The pace will be relatively slow so that no-one gets dropped, but there sprints thrown in for those who have itchy legs. After each sprint we’ll regroup and continue on our way.

Each week there will be at least one experienced rider leading the ride. They’ll be there to give tips, make sure no-one gets left behind and to ride with any new riders or just those lacking in confidence.

The rules are:

  • Everyone is there to help each other.
  • No-one gets left behind.
  • You can hammer it as hard as you want for the sprints, but always regroup afterwards.
  • Sprint safely – hold your lines and be smooth.
  • Obey road rules – safety always come before anything else.

New riders are always welcome. Just turn up and introduce yourself so the ride leaders can have a bit of a chat with you about how it all works. See you there!
