Below is the VCC race schedule for the 2014 calendar year. Please be aware that this is a provisional list and any changes will be notified ASAP.
Please note that in the next week or so a more comprehensive post including a combined VCC, CCC, Goulburn Cycling Club and significant NSW race calendar will be put up. The VCC race committee have been involved in a number of meetings with CCC to attempt to bring a wide range of races to our members through the year.
The VCC race committee would like to extend their thanks to those members of the CCC race committee who have actively involved themselves in these planning meetings. This approach to the 2014 calendar highlights the colligate approach taken by both clubs this year to benefit the whole local racing community.
- 23 March – SFP – Uriarra Homestead – Scratch – GCC Interclub Race
- 27 April – Lookout Hill – Handicap
- 18 May – Uriarra Homestead – Handicap
- 29 June – SFP Uriarra Rd – ITT
- 17 August – South of Tharwa – Scratch
- 14 September – Uriarra Homestead – Scratch
- 11 October – ACT TT Championships – ITT
- 30 November – Honeysuckle Hammer – Scratch
The above schedule means that all VCC races for 2014 apart from the ACT TT Championships will be held on Sundays. This compliments the CCC schedule which will include the majority of races on Saturdays. Don’t forget Supercrits will continue through the summer.
