13 hardy souls, 5 volunteers a tandem and a junior turned up for the Uriarra ITT. Conditions were poor – windy…cold…sleeting at times and literally millions of 4WD punters off to see snow. Despite the conditions a few skinsuits and even disc wheels were spotted.
Competitors chose either one or two laps of the 13km course.
Fastest on the day was Paul Salisbury who did the 2 laps in a touch over 38 minutes with an average speed of nearly 40km/h. That was a faster average speed than the fastest one lap competitor Tristan Dimmock.
